FYI: I have no idea why it says it has AI content. There is no AI going on here! 🤣
Its been many years since we have had this many geese hanging out on our property. I don’t mind for a short while but they have been here everyday for at least 2 weeks! I know they have less places to go since Middletown’s open spaces are being eaten up with developments and they need to stop and refuel for their migration but damn I wish they would go! They want to come up to the house by the chickens which is a huge NONO as bird flu is from water fowl. Heck, they shouldn’t even be on the property because of it but what can i do 🤷‍♀️

My buddies the crows waiting for their breakfast❤️They love their peanuts 🥜 Crows are territorial and will chase off hawks so they are an added protection for my chickens if they are free ranging at any time.

We had some trees fall along the driveway with that wicked storm yesterday so want to give everyone a heads up. There will be a tree company coming in this afternoon to take all of those trees down and they will be in the driveway. So please drive slowly and be prepared to go around them and do not turf up my grass.

Clouds came rolling in last night and the wind was wicked!💨🌬️it brought much needed relief from the heat. Though not much rain unfortunately 💦

Cant w**d wack because you fractured your pelvis No Problem! My garden was getting over run around it so i found a solution 😆crawling on my hands and knees pulling it by hand! Might not look as good as a trimmer but not trying to pawn off another job on my husband right now. Trying to make “Can’t do it” not in my vocabulary😊

This past Saturday Rowan Farm was excited to be the host site for a DelMar Ranch Riding Show. This was really out of our comfort zone as we have up to this point only hosted Hunter Shows. We were blown away with how friendly and courteous everyone was and how efficient and wonderful the Del Mar staff was! That is not to say that there were not a few minor glitches as we worked to figure out what worked with the facilities but everything was taken care of smoothly and quickly. This truly is a great group putting these shows on and we are happy to be the host site again for their September show!
