Morning check in with Autumn ❤️😊 I love being able to capture moments like this. Sometimes morning drop offs can feel a lot like when parents are dropping their kids off to school or daycare. It can be little overwhelming at times but we try to make it as stress free as possible for the owners and the pups.

The original concept of The Rainbow Bridge stemmed from a handwritten poem penned by a young woman named Edna Clyne-Rekhy who had recently lost her beloved Labrador Retriever in 1959. Today we wish you peace and comforting memories as we share her poem with you today:

"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together..."

What a day at the Middletown Peach Festival! 🍑🔥 The heat didn't stop the fun, and the turnout was incredible. Huge shoutout to the amazing team at the booth— ( and Melissa who puts this all together ) and to all the adorable pups who stopped by to say hello! We already can't wait for next year! 🐾❤️

Okay, so I started out trying to show how we protect your fur babies’ fragile ears—and ours—from the loud (and sometimes a little scary) noise of the dryers.

But then… things took a turn. 😂

You see, Allyson has a furry friend named Cannoli. Every time Cannoli comes in for a spa day, we can’t stop thinking about those delicious Italian pastries! Before you know it, we’re all craving cannolis. 🤣

So, what was supposed to be an educational post turned into a whole lot of fun!

Now we’ve got a little debate going around the shop… which photo is better?
