Dumped like garbage and left to suffer alone, these three tiny puppies were discovered weak, injured, and terrified inside a battered cardboard box. Their infections are so severe that two puppies may never see again without urgent medical treatment. Despite everything they have endured, they are still fighting to survive. URGENT: Puppy Beaten Within An Inch Of Her Life, Then Locked In A Crate And Dumped On The Highway Unresponsive
Some rescues will haunt us forever, and sweet Button’s case is tragically one of them. Days ago, Button was found on the side of the road, locked inside a crate, unresponsive, drenched in blood, and near death. Someone had beaten her brutally, sealed her into a crate, and left her there to die alone. When Animal Shelter was alerted and saw her condition, they knew this was a race against time. Button’s life depended on it.

Our team was contacted and we immediately rushed to be with her, but when Button arrived, the sight was gut-wrenching. Her body was stained red from the blood loss, her head badly injured, and her body limp. The emergency veterinarian confirmed what everyone feared: Button had been beaten within an inch of her life. The head injuries are extensive, and the level of force used on her tells a story of unimaginable cruelty.

Button was hospitalized overnight and remains in critical condition. Right now, the focus is on stabilizing her, controlling pain and swelling in her brain, and determining just how much damage has been done. The next hours are crucial. Her life quite literally hangs in the balance.

We urgently need help to cover Button’s emergency care, diagnostics, and ongoing treatment. The costs for overnight hospitalization, imaging, medications, and monitoring are significant, and they are happening right now. Please, if you are able, help us fight for Button’s life. Thank you.
