After 16 months of being with us, our sweet babies Hogan and Doris are finally headed off to their very own home! We could not be anymore excited for them!! They have found the most perfect Pawrents to call theirs. Dad even said he was so excited he may not be able to sleep tonight!! 😭 we are going to miss them times a million, because how can you not get attached after that long. But we are so beyond happy for them and we know they will have the best life! We love you Hoagie and Dorinda ❤️
We also wanted to shout out to the amazing rescue that helped us find the perfect humans for our babies, and for all that they helped us with the last few months! @ The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater New York

💔 A YEAR.

A year of waiting.
A year of hoping.
Doris and Hogan are still waiting for someone to choose them.

These two sweet dogs have been in foster care with us for over a year. We have posted them again and again, hoping that their person would see them. But so far…nothing. 💔

Now, thankfully, Scottish Terrier Club  has stepped in to help us find them a forever home, and we are praying that this is finally the beginning of their happy ending. 🙏🏻

But first, we need to get Hogan ready.

❤️ Hogan is 10 years old and desperately needs a dental cleaning and several extractions. Scottish Rescue is helping us with the cost, but we could really use your help too.

And Doris is 7 years old.

We know the reality: finding homes for older dogs isn’t easy. They aren’t the puppies everyone is lining up to take home. They may have to wait longer. They may get overlooked.

But they still deserve to be loved. They still deserve a family. And they still deserve a soft place to land. 🥺❤️

If you can help Hogan get the dental care he needs, even a $5 donation makes a difference. $5 may not seem like much, but when a community comes together, those little donations add up quickly.

🙏🏻 Please help us get Hogan healthy and ready for adoption.

And please share this post, because somewhere out there is the family that Doris and Hogan have been waiting for.

They’ve already waited a year.

Let’s not let them wait another one. 🐾❤️

Thank you for loving rescue dogs and for helping us give these two the chance they deserve. ❤️
