Timmy came in as a little kitten for upper respiratory issues, trouble breathing and not growing as he should.
After his symptoms still worsened despite various medications, we knew we had to take a deeper look.
We placed him under anesthesia and removed a large nasopharyngeal polyp.
These polyps mostly affect young cats and kittens, causing noisy breathing, snorting, nasal discharge, and potential ear signs like head tilting or scratching.
Once the polyp is removed, most cats/kittens make a full recovery and go on to live happy and healthy lives.
Timmy is now back at home, breathing much easier and playing as a normal kitten should🥰
