Does your dog tremble, hide, pant, or pace when storms or fireworks arrive? You're not alone—and your pet doesn't have to suffer through it.

There are several safe and effective anxiety medications available that can help reduce fear and panic during storms and fireworks. While some dogs may experience mild temporary sedation, a calm, comfortable dog is often much happier than one experiencing severe anxiety.

Remember: anxiety medications work best when given BEFORE the storm starts, usually at least an hour ahead of time.

If your pet struggles during thunderstorms or fireworks, give us a call. We're happy to discuss options that can help keep them safe, comfortable, and stress-free.

Burgers on the grill, sunshine, and long weekends... Memorial Day is officially here! 🍔☀️🇺🇸

While you’re out enjoying the long weekend, we want to wish everyone in our MAC community a happy and peaceful holiday. Because we always want to keep your pets healthy from the inside out, here are a few quick tips to ensure your weekend is entirely stress-free:

🍔 Watch the Scraps: Keep bones, onions, and fatty grill scraps out of reach.

Beat the Heat: Make sure your sun-seekers have plenty of shade and fresh water.

🎆 Safe Spaces: If loud noises or local fireworks start up, give your pet a quiet, safe room inside to relax.

🗓️ Friendly Reminder: Our clinic will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th so our hard-working team can spend time with their families. We’ll be back in the office and ready to see our awesome paw-tients on Tuesday morning! If you experience a pet emergency on Monday, please reach out to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
