Pause 4 Paws Therapy Canines and Obedience Training

10/02/2026

We trained outside last night under the lights with Trainer Debbie B. What an awesome opportunity for our handlers and canines. Although I did not get pictures of the pumpkins 🎃, we did an awesome pumpkin weave. Thank you to South Hill Kennels for allowing us to train at their facility.

Porscha and Zed were the Northumberland County Therapy Canines today. When we arrived it took us 15 minutes to get upstairs. 🥰Everyone wanted to see the dogs. Handlers Cindy Y and Cindy P were very proud of the love and paw prints their canines shared. When emotions run “HIGH” the dogs know when to put their Therapy Training into gear. Zed allowed everyone to touch and hug him. Porscha knew exactly when to cuddle and give kisses. Contact Pause 4 Paws if you’re interested in obedience training. 570-966-1829 or 570-850-1252. Trainer Pam was awesome this week. Guiding our canines through commands that allowed us as handlers confidence our canines will follow our commands and knowing we are the most important people in their lives 🐾❤️

Our canine and farm animal therapy teams attended Recovery Day sponsored by Camp Driven in Selinsgrove Pa. The weather was over cast and perfect for our animals. As you stroll down through our pictures you will see Trainer and Handler Kierstin demonstrating Oakley her Service Canine. Look for Pretzel the dwarf goat loving on her momma’s chest. The gentleness of Mara the Bunny. BE STILL MY HEART! Watch the children’s faces as they interact with our canines and farm animals. Each animal sharing in its own way. ❤️ Thank you to these wonderful handlers who take the time to train, to share and the expense to care for these special animals.
