Meet Kierstin and Oakley. Kierstin is our Service Dog Trainer. Her expertise excels her knowledge and ability to help those individuals whom need an assistant canine. Basic and Intermediate classes started July 15,2026. We talked about the importance of consistency, having your dog’s attention, giving commands with hand signals, socialization, and handlers and canines being individuals with our goal to have great canine companions. Training last night was very special. Congratulations to Handler Jessica Knouse who handles Kinser and Sadie both Golden Retrievers who passed Canine Good Citizen and Pause 4 Paws Therapy Certification. Congratulations to Chrissy Greblick who handles Ripp a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon who passed AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy. All three canines earned ribbons and will receive certificates from AKC. We are so proud to have them as members of Pause 4 Paws Therapy Canines and Obedience Training. 🐾🐾

This “Table - Cage combo” (brand new in box) donated to Pause 4 Paws by Juanita Evans. We appreciate her generosity in helping to achieve our mission of training more therapy dogs to help people in need. We put it together. It’s fabulous: wood with metal frame and a hidden tray. It actually has two doors. One in front and one on the side. 33 inches long, 26 inches high and 20 inches wide. We are asking for a donation for raffle tickets of: $2.00 for one ticket or $5.00 for three tickets. This raffle will go till we reach $400.00. Watch for us to be set up at different locations or message Pause 4 Paws on their page and we will get tickets put in the drawing for you. Questions: message Pause 4 Paws on their page. You must be able to pick it up. We can work with you on location pickup.

Look for our “Placards” when we are out and about with our Therapy Canines. You will know our dogs are somewhere putting paws prints on hearts and passing out kisses. 🐾❤️
