What a whirlwind of a weekend! 🎠💨

Three days of learning, laughing, building new friendships, and watching riders grow with the amazing Luke Reinbold. We spent the weekend reminding ourselves that progress happens one stride at a time (literally), focusing on our own rides, our own goals, and climbing that never-ending ladder to becoming better horsemen and horsewomen.

A huge thank you to my incredible barn family. ❤️ This weekend wasn’t just about horses and riding—it was about the people who show up when it matters most. Through some challenging personal moments, you had my back, picked up the slack, kept me moving forward, and never stopped showing up. Your support, kindness, and willingness to jump in wherever needed helped make this clinic the success that it was. I am beyond grateful for every one of you.

Somewhere between the lessons, the laughs, and the “wait, do that again?” moments, I managed to take approximately 47,000 photos and videos. 📸😂 I’m working my way through them and will get them out when I can!

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported one another, and made the weekend so special. Now excuse me while I sort through enough media to qualify as a full-time photographer. 🎥🐴

I know you all haven’t heard from me since Aiken… honestly, I’ve been very busy. Working. Training. Existing in this offensively cold weather. Frankly, I wish I’d stayed in the South longer, but duty calls—because apparently I’m now what they call a proper event horse. 💁‍♀️🐴

In fact, I even went out and did my very first sanctioned Eventing competition. Can you believe I let people judge me? The audacity.

And don’t even get me started on the dressage judge. Not only was she rude… she took a BATHROOM BREAK. Excuse me?! A whole 30 minutes after my ride time. Does she not know who I am? I am the Boss Mare. Naturally, I threw in a little half-halt protest. She was not getting my best test after that nonsense.

But then came show jumping… and cross-country. And listen—the kid works hard, so I decided to do my job. I jumped all the jumps, marched through the water (even though I’m still convinced something lives in there that wants to eat me), and if you look closely at the photos… I think she’s actually smiling. 😏

I may be spicy, but I know when to deliver.

NBS had a great night at the valinor jumper show! Walking away with more confidence in every course and sharping the flat skills every round! These girls killed there flat class taking home 1st & 2nd and both have 2 fantastic jump rounds! We’ve hit the ground running, here’s to a summer full of fun, lots of shows and some road trips!

🐴 HELP WANTED: Come Join the Barn Chaos 🐴

Looking for reliable farm help for Saturday 8 HOURS shift! Flat rate at our busy horse farm!

Your exciting duties may include (but are not limited to):
✅ Feeding horses who act like they’ve never eaten before
✅ Turnout (yes, convincing everyone to go outside)
✅ Blanket changes (because apparently horses need more outfit changes than we do)
✅ Picking paddocks (glamorous? no. necessary? absolutely.)
✅ Doing stalls (because horses are talented at making messes)

Must be:
✔️ Dependable
✔️ Comfortable around horses
✔️ Able to work hard and laugh while doing it
✔️ Not afraid of dirt, mud, hay… or occasional horse opinions

Barn experience is a plus, but a good attitude and willingness to learn go a long way.
