Your dog’s gums can tell you more than you might think! 🦷🐾

Healthy gums should typically be pink and moist, while changes in color can sometimes be a sign that something else is going on. From dental inflammation to potential underlying health concerns, knowing what to look for can help you catch changes early. 👀

Pause this reel to check out a quick guide to what different gum colors may mean.

✨ Cleaner teeth. Healthier gums. Happier pets.

9 years young and getting his smile refreshed right from the comfort of home 🏡🦷✨

Buddy received a house-call non-anesthetic dental cleaning, and these are his before & after results! 🤎

He had a noticeable amount of plaque and calculus buildup, but underneath was a much cleaner smile. Buddy did great throughout his cleaning with gentle handling, patience, and plenty of TLC.

One of my favorite things about house calls is being able to provide dental care in a familiar environment — especially for older pups like Buddy. 🐾

🐱🦷 Did you know that over 70% of cats over the age of 3 have some form of dental disease?

The tricky part? Cats are incredibly good at hiding pain. Many continue eating, playing, and acting completely normal while living with uncomfortable dental disease.

Swipe through to learn:
✨ Common signs of dental disease
✨ Why healthy teeth matter
✨ Why gums may appear red after a cleaning
✨ Whether your cat is a candidate for non-anesthetic dental cleaning

Cali did an amazing job during her cleaning, and we’re so happy with her results! ❤️

Remember, every cat is evaluated individually, and not every feline is a candidate for non-anesthetic dental cleaning. Your cat’s safety and comfort always come first.

A healthy mouth can mean a happier, more comfortable life for your feline friend. 🐾

🦷✨ Maple’s very first dental cleaning! ✨🦷

Meet Maple, a sweet 5-year-old Cockapoo who was a little anxious about her first dental cleaning. 💛 With a little CBD, lots of TLC, and plenty of patience, she was able to relax and did an amazing job.

Her smile is now cleaner, healthier, and her breath is fresher—all without anesthesia. Preventive dental care can make a huge difference in your dog’s overall health and comfort.

Way to go, Maple! 🐶🍁

If you have a small dog, save this for later.

Did you know small dogs get dental disease faster than large dogs?

Small dogs have smaller mouths and crowded teeth.

Many also don’t open their mouths very wide, so the back molars stay tucked behind the cheeks. This creates a dark, moist space where food and bacteria get trapped — the perfect environment for plaque and tartar to build up.

Without regular dental care, over time this plaque hardens into tartar and can lead to periodontal disease.

That’s why preventative dental care every six months is so important for small dogs.

Keeping your dog’s mouth healthy helps support their overall health and longevity.

Today’s patient: a 14-year-old Toy Poodle with 10 remaining teeth.

She has had several extractions in the past, and sometimes people ask, “Why continue dental cleanings if she only has 10 teeth left?”

The answer is simple: those 10 teeth matter.

Her mom is committed to maintaining her dental health and preventing additional painful infections or complications with the teeth she has remaining. She is a happy, healthy senior girl with good years ahead of her, and routine dental cleanings help keep her comfortable and thriving.

Even a small number of teeth can accumulate plaque and bacteria. Regular maintenance reduces buildup, supports gum health, and helps prevent infection — ensuring a pain-free mouth and a happy pup as she moves confidently through her senior years.

Fewer teeth does not mean less care.
It means protecting what remains.

Menos dientes no significa menos cuidado.
Significa proteger lo que queda.
