Bella is one of our regulars! 🐶🦷✨ She stays on a consistent follow-up schedule, but just like people, some pups and kitties naturally accumulate plaque and tartar more quickly than others.
The redness you see in Bella’s before photo is inflammation caused by plaque and bacteria irritating the gum tissue. Once that buildup is carefully removed, the gums finally have a cleaner environment where they can begin to heal. 🩵
Over the next several days, that inflammation and redness should gradually calm down as the tissue recovers. Regular follow-ups and daily brushing at home are especially important for Bella since she tends to build up plaque faster.
Every mouth is different — consistency is key! 🪥🐾
