A quick stop can become a tragedy in just minutes.

Even with the windows cracked, temperatures inside a parked car can rise to dangerous levels very quickly, putting dogs and cats at risk of heatstroke, organ failure, and even death.

🚨 Signs of heatstroke:
• Excessive panting
• Drooling
• Vomiting
• Weakness or collapse
• Bright red gums
• Rapid heartbeat

Remember: pets cannot cool themselves the way humans can.

This summer:
✅ Leave your pet at home if they can’t come inside with you.
✅ Bring plenty of fresh water when traveling.
✅ Use air conditioning.
✅ Avoid leaving pets unattended in vehicles—ever.

❤️ Our pets trust us to keep them safe. A quick errand is never worth risking a life.

If it’s too hot for you to sit in a parked car, it’s too hot for your pet.
