Their dog wasn’t walking with them. He was walking them.

She filmed her own apartment so people would believe her.

Klaus was a Doberman puppy. Cushions gone. Trash everywhere. The whole place wrecked.

Your dog does NOT need to say hi to every dog on the street. Actually, they shouldn’t.

This is Mila, 4.5 months old, out in one of the busiest markets in Miami Vendors, strollers, people eating lunch, dogs everywhere, including one with zero manners trying to get in her face… twice.

Here’s what most owners get wrong:

They think their dog “needs” to socialize with every dog they see. They let strange dogs charge up, invade space, and “say hi” on a tight leash. Then they wonder why their dog becomes reactive, anxious, or shut down months later.

Socialization is not a free-for-all of dog greetings. That’s how you BUILD reactivity, not prevent it.

My job with Mila today wasn’t to let her meet dogs. It was to teach her:
- When something’s off, look at ME.
- I handle the environment. You stay next to me.
- Engagement with your handler pays. Fixating on other dogs doesn’t.

Kyle adopted a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois who tried to attack every dog, cat, and duck she saw. Today, Luna eats at restaurants with him.

When Kyle came to us, walking Luna was a nightmare. Reactivity. Leash pulling. Lunging at anything that moved. He’d already tried PetSmart classes and a handful of trainers — nothing stuck.
