Newborn Goldendoodle puppies!

Ruby’s litter is here!

08/29/2026

Goldendoodle genetics play a huge role in how every puppy looks—even puppies from the exact same litter.

People often ask me for a very specific color, coat, or overall look, but genetics don’t work like a copy-and-paste button. Every puppy inherits a different combination of traits from both parents, so there will always be variation within a litter.

Out of this entire litter, only one puppy came out exactly as I envisioned: his dad’s literal twin. And somehow, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. His dad retires from our program in April, so naturally, I kept him. 🤎

Sometimes genetics really do understand the assignment.
