10 YEARS OF FIT & GO PETS 🐾 YEAR 5: THE YEAR THE WORLD STOOD STILL… BUT WE KEPT GOING ❤️
Oh boy, where do we even begin? 😳 The year the world turned upside down. Businesses closed, routines disappeared, and none of us knew what tomorrow would bring.
But through it all, Fit & Go Pets never closed its doors. Not a single day.
Located minutes from Miami’s Health District, many of our clients were healthcare workers on the front lines. While they were saving lives, we had the privilege of caring for their pups. ❤️
And that meant adapting! Some worked incredibly long shifts, coming home for just a few hours before heading back. We’d bring their dogs home so they could spend those precious hours together, then pick them up again for boarding. Their schedules became our schedules.
Things slowed down considerably, but inside Abuela’s House, life went on. The dogs kept playing, the pools kept filling up, and the grooming continued. We celebrated birthdays, dressed up for Halloween, and found reasons to smile when the world needed them most. 🐶💦
And our team? Extraordinary. They showed up, adjusted their schedules, took on new responsibilities, and loved every pup as their own. Some are still with us today, and we couldn’t be prouder.
2020 taught us something we’ll never forget: being part of a community means showing up for each other, especially when things get hard.
To every client who trusted us, every healthcare worker who let us be part of their support system, and every team member who kept Abuela’s House running: thank you. ❤️
We started this business because we loved dogs, but 2020 reminded us just how much we love the people who come with them.
Were you part of our pack in 2020? What do you remember about that unforgettable year? 🐾❤️
