For those that donāt ; CareCredit is a health, wellness, and personal care credit card issued by Synchrony Bank that helps people pay for out-of-pocket medical, dental, and veterinary expenses not covered by insurance or if you donāt have insurance. It can only be used for these Healthcare type expenses .
How It Works
ā¢ Accepted Locations: You can use the card at over 285,000 enrolled provider and retail locations across the United States including Mexico Animal Hospital.
ā¢ Eligible Expenses: It covers dental care, veterinary bills, cosmetic procedures, vision exams, hearing aids, and specific medical copays or deductibles.
ā¢ Promotional Financing: Qualifying purchases of $200 or more often feature a "no interest if paid in full" promotional period lasting 6, 12, 18, or 24 months. Larger purchases may qualify for reduced APR plans with fixed monthly payments.
ā¢ Deferred Interest Risk: If you do not pay off the total promotional balance before the promotional period ends, interest is charged retroactively from the original purchase date at a high standard rate.
ā¢ Application: You can check if you prequalify online without affecting your credit score.
