Ok people, I've got one coming in that's pretty special.

16yo Morgan gelding. Was a stallion until just recently. If fact, he's Artemis's sire. As a stallion he was the type to tie up to the hay wagon in a group of mares during church and never hear a peep from him.

Gelding him has only made him quieter and they only gelded him so he could be the one to teach the kids how to drive- one of which is special needs.

Ive watched him get towed around the yard by kids that stood shorter than my hip, and Ive used him myself as company to help with loading really young stock.

He does have a slight hitch behind that is likely mechanical. He's had it his whole life- it's never changed or given him issue.

He will be made available to the right home or lesson program in the low/mid4 figures range after he's UTD on shots, through quarantine, and Im sure he has the basics of riding down.

The kids have used him as a jungle gym... but that's not exactly same. 🦄

Absolutely beautiful headed mare that's sweet, quiet, and very easy to have around.

Well broke- western, english and ranch- but has limited trail riding and show experience. 80% of her riding has been in the arena or around the farm.

Quiet enough for beginners, but she's also very soft and responsive so she greatly prefers *riders with soft hands and some education*

In the past she's been placed in situations with riders who were unsympathetic to this fact and as such she's much happier and forgiving bitless.

Has been predominantly a walk/trot mount the last few years so could use some more fitting at the lope and to reschool her flying changes, etc.

Some minor maintenance required in the form of periodic chiro and an adequate farrier- (she is high/low with minor OA left front)

Excellent for vet/farrier/bathing and just being loved on. Whether you're looking for a sweet mare to just ride around, or a practice horse because yours lives at the trainers, this could be your girl.

Glad I spent $10 at the car wash for no soap, no foam, no wax, on my "mighty big truck (for a little girl)". That observation was per Captain Obvious who was blocking the atm with *his* slightly smaller truck. Luckily that "mighty big truck" didn't run over the lady on the scooter with the training wheels who was blocking (hiding behind?) the diesel pump, that I couldn't see until I made the turn after driving past 4 wide open gas pumps.

I honestly should have never left the farm today. 🤦‍♀️

What I don't have (yet) are strategically placed wildlife cameras. I need to. I have SO many questions.

That's a stale donut. A fairly large chunk. Just about 3"... which for donuts is a lot. It's on the retaining wall outside of the arena. It didn't come from here. Not the house anyway. Maybe someone other than I had on in the barn. I can't recall the last time there were donuts around. It's been at least months. Probably years. The seagulls have been really busy at the neighbors. It could have been them...probably... maybe... maybe not. Just another unsolved mini-mystery around here.
