Hey guys, it has been an extremely crazy busy last few weeks. My grandmother‘s passing. We got married. My son got married. We are trying to move. Our son is moving and our daughter is moving. Then to top it all off. Morticia got jumped on when a strange dog tried to enter the yard. We have a fractured leg. We need all the prayers we can get.

Today I’m sharing something personal with my Simply Bernese family. My grandma passed away, and she was truly the kindest, most gentle soul I’ve ever known. I don’t think I ever heard her raise her voice — she loved everyone quietly and deeply.

She also had such a special love for my dogs and puppies. They were always so calm and gentle with her, like they knew her heart. She loved holding the puppies, watching them, and being part of the joy they bring. Those moments meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly thankful I have those memories.

It gives me comfort knowing she’s in heaven now, reunited with her family, and at peace. I know she’s probably being greeted by a whole pack of sweet dogs, just like the ones she loved here.

Thank you for being part of our Simply Bernese family — I wanted to share this piece of my heart with you all. 🤍

🐾 Bernese Puppy Update 🐾
The babies are starting their new adventures this week… and while it’s bittersweet, it’s also so exciting watching them meet their families.

The first few days in a new home can be a big adjustment. New smells, new people, new routines… it’s a lot for a little Berner. ❤️

You may notice:
• Extra sleep (they’re processing everything)
• A little whining at night (they miss their siblings)
• Following you everywhere (you’re their safe place now)
• Big appetite… or sometimes a shy one the first day
• Lots of cuddles… Bernese specialty

Best things you can do:
✓ Keep things calm and quiet
✓ Stick to a consistent routine
✓ Give them a cozy sleeping spot
✓ Take them out frequently
✓ Lots of gentle love and reassurance

They adjust quickly — and before you know it, they’ll act like they’ve always owned your house. 😄
