So.. We did a very cool thing today. "We" being John Williams , Marie Stump and myself .. Along with "Creek" , Mack Valley's Creek Warrior (who most of you know 😊) and "Morgan" Frosty Hill's Captain Morgan's Golden Sand decided to make youngins ! Sometimes the time is just right .. Both are wonderful Chessies with top health clearances, exceptional temperaments, excellent pedigrees and both are young and pursuing titles! So about 8 weeks from now we should hear the pitter patter of little paws! A few fertility dances are always appreciated... With their pedigree they should be great subjects for hunting partners, hunt tests, other competition venues or great family dogs. Contact myself or Marie to claim your stake on one of them as they'll all be "adopted" pretty quickly Im sure..

Thought I'd share "Creek's" Best of Breed win pic from Cumberland with John Williams .... Not the greatest pic with his positioning but not too bad. Just Love this Boy ! Hopefully makin some "little Creeks" soon !

So after all of the great test results I got back on Creek. Those wonderful Penn Hip numbers.. He had to "one up it" .. I got his OFA's back and he's normal eblows and hips rating Excellent !

I got back Creek's Pen Hip assessment and it came back great ! The Penn Hip measures SO much more including how much it moves inside the joint (distraction) then its actually measured, not subjectively evaluated, then it's compared to all of the Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in their database! Creek scored a .38 which , in laymen's terms is like saying he scored 38 out 0f 100 Chesapeakes. ( actually compared to 741 other Chesapeakes! ) and that's rated on the looser of the two! Very happy with all of this !

Great day today ! John Williams brought Creek down for his last few clearance items. His cardiac went great ! I went with Penn Hips for the increased detail. My vet believes they look very good! Elbows fine. He had a semen eval which showed 615 million with over 93% motility! All in all very good news!
