💔 Cal has been at the shelter far too long… and we are watching his heart break.
Cal came to the shelter on November 7, 2025, but sadly, his story started long before that. After spending months waiting, his owner finally came forward. In the end, Cal was rehomed. We’re not sure why, because this boy is truly something special. We contacted the new owners, hoping they would come for him… but they never did.
And now, here he sits.
This sweet boy breaks our hearts every single day.
When we walk up to Cal’s kennel, this is often what we see — a dog quietly waiting, longing for someone to finally choose him. He used to run excitedly to the kennel door, tail wagging, full of hope and excitement. But lately… that spark is fading. You can see it in his eyes. Cal is starting to lose hope, and no dog deserves to feel forgotten.
Yet despite everything he’s been through, Cal is still such a good boy.

🐾 Neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations
🐾 Does well with other dogs
🐾 Full of love and so deserving of a second chance
Day after day, Cal gets overlooked. While other dogs come and go, he continues to wait for someone to see just how special he truly is.

Our adoption hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 5-7pm and Saturdays 9-11:30am. If these times do not work please reach out and we can schedule a meet and greet.
