Labor Day Weekend Closure

As summer winds down and early autumn arrives in Michigan, our Fox Run team is taking a little time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the Labor Day weekend!

Fall Is Rolling In, Don’t Forget About Your Flock!

At Fox Run Animal Hospital, we’re happy to offer poultry appointments for your backyard flock!

Poultry appointments are limited to just 2 per day, and they tend to fill up quickly, so we encourage Michigan poultry owners to plan ahead and schedule early.

🍁 Why is fall poultry health so important in Michigan?

As temperatures begin to drop and the days get shorter, your birds face changes that can impact their health. Fall is a great time to make sure your flock is in good shape before Michigan’s colder months arrive.

A fall wellness visit can help identify concerns such as:
• Changes in weight or body condition
• Respiratory problems
• Parasites and other common health issues
• Egg-laying concerns
• Nutrition and husbandry needs
• Problems that may become more serious during cold weather

Healthy birds going into winter are better prepared for the challenges of Michigan’s changing seasons.

Tang’s First Kitten Visit!

Tang had his very first kitten visit at Fox Run Animal Hospital, and he did AMAZING! He was such a good boy and handled everything like a champ.

Of course, he had to get a picture with Jordan, our awesome technician! Tang absolutely LOVES playing and exploring, so there was plenty of fun to be had during his visit!

We’re so proud of this sweet little guy!
