Welcome to Northern Michigan Goldendoodles!
We are a family who loves their Goldendoodles (and Copper our male cockapoo) â¤ď¸
We have Paris who is our female(mom) and Koda who is our male(dad). We have waited 4 years to have our first litter of Goldendoodles and they are here and ready to go to their forever homes.
We started with 8 and now we have 5 puppies left. Each puppy comes home with their first set of shots, dewormed, bag of puppy food, puppy pad, and paperwork.
We donât do vet checks anymore because we figure you the new owner is going to take them to the vet shortly after you bring them home. If you prefer we can take them to the vet and get them vet checked and that would be worked out in advance between us and the new owner. We give the puppies their first set of shots and can show you how to do that on your own if you prefer or you can go to the vets to get them done. We try to save you money wherever we can. By not taking them to the vet for the first shots we are able to keep the prices lower for you. Our Goldendoodles are $1000 and I donât know anywhere that you can buy them for less than that.
That being said, we do not do things âcheapâ. Each puppy is socialized, played with, and taken care of. We make sure that they are puppy pad trained for you, and that they know where they sleep and where they do their âbusinessâ. These puppies have some of the best temperaments. They have the smarts of the poodle and the gentleness of the golden retriever. You should never have to worry about them being aggressive unless you train them to be aggressive. They really are gentle and loving. They want to be your best friend.
Coats-some will have kinky curly coats and some will have straighter coats. This is because some will pull more of the golden retriever genes and some will pull more of the poodle genes. The kinky curly tends to matte and is hypoallergenic but higher maintenance, the wavy is less hypoallergenic, but still good, and they might shed in small clumps but they donât matte as easily. The straight is not as hypoallergenic, and you will see them shed tiny amounts but they will not matte and are easiest to brush. So it just depends on what you want in a dog. If you want easy maintenances do you donât need a completely hypoallergenic dog then the straight hair is a great choice. If you like the curly and need a mostly hypoallergenic dog but donât like matting and brushing all the time then the wavy is a good choice. If you need a hypoallergenic dog and you donât mind brushing and hair maintenance then the curly is the right option for you. This is why we chose our adult dogs, because we knew that there would be variety there and it would give people options.
