🐐 GOAT SALES POLICY — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
I wanted to make a clear post about my goat sales policy since the 2027 kidding season is almost upon us! I want everything to be fair, transparent, and straightforward for both myself and my buyers. 🩷
📌 RESERVING A GOAT
A goat is considered AVAILABLE until a deposit has been received. Simply saying you want a goat, or discussing a purchase, does not reserve that goat. Once I receive the agreed-upon deposit, I will mark the goat as SOLD and will no longer offer them to other buyers!
💰 DEPOSITS
Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to something on my end. If a buyer changes their mind, no longer wants the goat, cannot pick up the goat, or otherwise backs out of the sale, the deposit will NOT be refunded.
The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price!
💵 REMAINING BALANCE
The remaining balance is due in full at pickup or delivery
⏰ HOLDING GOATS
I am happy to work with buyers on pickup dates, but I cannot hold goats indefinitely. Goats will only be held for an agreed-upon amount of time after they are weaned and/or ready to go to their new home. If you need a longer hold, please discuss this with me before placing a deposit so we can agree on the arrangements. If a buyer repeatedly delays pickup or does not communicate, the sale may be considered forfeited and the deposit retained.
❤️ HEALTH
My goats are cared for to the best of my ability and are expected to be healthy and ready for their new homes when they leave my care, unless a health issue or other concern has been specifically disclosed to the buyer. I will always be honest about known health, structural, or other issues that may affect a goat! Once a goat leaves my property, the buyer assumes responsibility for its continued care, housing, feeding, veterinary care, quarantine, and management.
🏡 RETURNS
I am willing to discuss taking a goat back on a case by case basis if something unexpected happens and the buyer can no longer keep the goat. However returning a goat does not entitle the buyer to a refund of the purchase price or deposit. A returned goat must be in suitable condition, and arrangements must be made with me beforehand. Please do not bring a goat back without contacting me first.
🚚 PICKUP & DELIVERY
Buyers are responsible for having appropriate transportation and being prepared to safely receive their goat. If I agree to deliver, delivery arrangements and any applicable delivery fee will be agreed upon before the goat leaves my property. I offer free delivery to places I often go to such as Prescott, Wickenburg, and surrounding towns.
📋 PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE PURCHASING
I encourage everyone to ask as many questions as they need before placing a deposit. I am happy to provide additional pictures, videos, information about the goat, pedigree information when applicable, and answer questions to the best of my ability. Please make sure a goat is a good fit for your herd and that you are prepared for the responsibilities of owning one before committing to a purchase.

I want my goats to go to wonderful homes, and I want my buyers to feel comfortable knowing exactly what to expect. My goal isn't to make things difficult, it's simply to have clear policies that protect both my buyers and my small goat business. 🩷
