To everyone who showed up today — you are troopers!!!

We cannot thank you enough for your patience today. We know the wait times were a little longer than anyone would have liked, and we truly appreciate everyone who stuck it out with us.

As chaotic as things may feel right now, we’re hopeful that we were able to get a lot of you taken care of, answer some questions, and hopefully put a few minds at ease.

It was also so nice to see so many new faces and meet so many happy patients! 🐾 That part made the chaos a whole lot more worth it.

And to those of you who couldn’t make it today — hang in there. We haven’t forgotten about you. We know there are still a lot of people waiting and needing care, and we’re doing our best to work through everything as quickly as we can.

We’re figuring this new chapter out right alongside all of you, and we are incredibly grateful for the patience, understanding, and support this community has shown us.

🚨 MEDICATION UPDATE 🚨

We know there have been a LOT of questions about medications, refills, and previous prescriptions as we navigate this transition — and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience with us.

Unfortunately, until we are physically in the clinic and have access to the previous medical records, we are unable to honor or refill previously prescribed medications. We simply don’t have access to those records yet.

As a veterinary practice, we are also legally required to have a current veterinarian-client-patient relationship and perform a physical examination before prescribing medications. We know this can be frustrating, but we have to follow the rules and make sure we are doing things properly and safely for your pets.

GOOD NEWS: We will be holding a special Walk-In Clinic TOMORROW at Packy’s Pet Store from 9 AM–2 PM!

🐾 $35 exams
🐾 Exams needed for medication refills
🐾 Vaccine updates
🐾 General wellness needs

No appointment necessary — just stop in!

We know this transition has been a little chaotic (to put it mildly 😅), and we appreciate everyone hanging in there with us while we work to get everything organized. We promise we’re doing our best to get everyone taken care of!

We want to apologize for the chaos and confusion lately as we navigate this new chapter and our new clinic setup. ❤️ We know things have looked a little different, and we truly appreciate everyone’s patience while we figure out our new normal.

To help keep things moving and make sure our patients aren’t falling through the cracks, we’re holding a SPECIAL WALK-IN CLINIC this Thursday!

A Little Fetch the Vet Update

For the time being, Fetch the Vet will not be adding any new mobile clients. This was a really hard decision, but until we figure out what our new “normal” looks like, we need to focus on taking care of the mobile clients we already have.

Some exceptions will be made for end-of-life care.

To everyone who has been reaching out — we hear you, we see you, and we appreciate you. We are doing our very best to figure out a schedule and get everyone taken care of.

For our existing mobile clients, I’ll be compiling a list of those currently needing services, and Dr. Burkett and I will work through the schedule from there.

At the moment, we are off the road while we work on our next chapter. Please hang in there with us — we promise we’re working on it!

As always, if you have had a physical exam with us within the last year, we can still provide virtual appointments and medication refills as needed.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued support, kind words, patience, and well wishes. We truly appreciate this community more than you know.
