Shadbolt Horse Training is a business built on the collective work of the Shadbolt family, primarily the father-daughter team Quentin and Jordan Sanders. Quentin has 20+ years of experience starting c**ts for customers and Jordan has 12 years in the business as well. Horses are a way of life for us and we use them personally for all cattle work on the ranch. Customer horses are exposed to moving a
nd sorting cattle as well as roping. We have access to thousands of acres of land on which horses learn to move out and travel well. After 30 sessions, a young horse with no previous training is usually expected to flex easily, collect, move their hip and shoulder, stop on 'whoa', back up, sidepass, open and close gates, swing a rope, move comfortably at all gaits, pick up both leads, load in the trailer, as well as have respectable manners and stand tied. We are very flexible and no two horses are trained exactly the same. We primarily start c**ts but can also put a tuneup on any horse and train barrel racing prospects. We put a foundation on a c**t that will allow them to go in any direction. We love what we do and we value your business.
