Their goal soon became to educate other owners and share the benefits of a healthy diet for their pets. Pets Choice opened in 1991 without much fanfare and in the middle of a recession, but over time it became known as a leading source for pet nutrition and wellness. In 2008, Maddie & Ron retired after helping thousands of animals and their owners. Joe & Teresa became the new owners of Pets Choice and set out to continue the standards first put forward by the previous owners.
