Look Who’s Back in Town! 🤠✈️

The rumor is true: Ranger has officially traded the Texas heat for a New England staycation!

While his parents are busy living their absolute best lives cruising across the pond, Ranger flew north to check in on his favorite resort. He’s already settled in, reclaiming his spot, and reminding everyone who really runs the show around here.

Don't worry, Mom and Dad—he promised he’d keep his country music volume down and his manners up. Enjoy the cruise! 🚢

Welcome to the Pack, Rio & Rumpus! 🐾

We are thrilled to officially welcome two incredible pups to our training program! They may be small now, but they both have massive futures ahead of them:

🌊 Rio (The River): True to his name, this smart pup is ready to flow right into his calling! Once he graduates, Rio will be heading to Greater Lawrence Technical School to serve as a dedicated school facility dog.

👹 Rumpus (The Wild Thing): Let the wild rumpus start! This little character is gearing up for life in the big city. He’ll be living in Boston, rocking his gear, and cheering loud as the ultimate Red Sox and Patriots fan! ⚾️🏈

We can't wait to watch these two learn, grow, and conquer their training. Leave some love in the comments to wish Rio and Rumpus good luck on their exciting journeys! ( (Rosie x Gus)

They’re about to grab it and GO 💨
You saw it before they did.
About 2 seconds too late.

Now they have it.

“DROP.”
“DROP.”
“DROP!”

They pause, look at you, and disappear under the bed with it.

Dogs learn fast.
Grab it. Run. Hold on tighter.

Because now, people chase, voices change, hands reach in and the item can become even more important.
There can now be a level of “excitement” in keeping it. There’s also a lot of attention.

Sometimes dogs stop hearing
“Drop”.

And start hearing:
“you’re about to lose this”.

If you are relying on a word IN the moment, there needs to be an understanding of the word IN that moment.

Otherwise they may not be learning
“let it go”.

They’re learning.
“keep it while you still can”.

Double the Magic, Double the M’s! ✨

We are absolutely over the moon to introduce the newest stars of our training program: Moxley and Maui! 🐾

It’s officially a "M-m-m-marvelous" day here as these two joined the team along with Indy. While they share a first initial, they also share two very important traits: hearts full of sweetness and a serious "ready to roll" work ethic. (Daisy x Gus)

New Student Alert: Meet Indy! 🐾

Stop what you’re doing and say hello to our newest star, Indy!

This fluffy white sweetheart is officially joining the program, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her. Indy was named after the state of Indiana (a sweet nod to her dad’s roots!), but she's no Hoosier. She is all New Hampshire

While the rest of his pack is currently screaming their lungs out at Universal Studio, Moose has opted for a slightly different pace. Moose has officially traded the smell of theme park churros and 0-to-60 acceleration for the scent of fresh laundry and the high-octane thrill of a backyard squirrel sighting.
Welcome, Moose (ML's Cookie x Bear)

Please join me in welcoming our newest trainees:

First up is Frances: **The Garden State’s Newest Socialite**. We expect to see her sipping puppuccinos, strolling the boardwalks, and mastering the art of the afternoon nap.

Second, is **Chase: Officer On Duty**
Chase has decided to take the path of public service. As a Comfort Dog, Chase will be stationed in the Lynn Public Schools, where his primary duties include:
* De-escalating exams with wagging tails.
* Providing tactical snuggles to stressed-out students.
* Maintaining a 100% success rate in "good boy" certifications.

A round of applause for our duo! One is headed for the thin blue line, and the other is headed for the tanning line. We couldn’t be happier for them both!

Socialization & Exposure. A very important part of my program.

It doesn’t mean playing.
It never did.
“Socialisation” has a lot to answer for.

It has a far more important meaning, and it’s often missed because of that one word.

It’s not all about interactions with other puppies or dogs. That’s a very small part of it.
Yet we get stuck thinking socialisation = play.

That’s the issue.

Socialisation is the whole world around them.
The one we’re used to. They’re not.

And if we reduce it to just play with other dogs?
Problems are on the way.

Socialisation is about teaching safety.
Creating safety.
Letting your puppy feel safe.

Even if they’ve never seen a plane or heard a crowd, the goal is the same.
Slow, careful exposure so they can take it in without overwhelming them.

We forget, or maybe don’t fully appreciate, how much they need to get used to in our world.

Socialisation is careful, positive exposure.
Acclimation.
And yes, a level of "neutrality".

Wet grass.
Stairs.
Rain on their head.
A cat passing by.
A scooter moving past.

The goal was never just play.

Everyone, please join us in welcoming Milo!
At just four months old, this Cavapoo has some very sophisticated goals. He’s officially enrolled in our program to polish his manners before hitting the Boston social scene. We’re working on his 'patience'—which is mostly code for 'not stealing your lobster roll' at outdoor cafes—and perfecting his strut for those long strolls through the Common.
Welcome to the team, Milo!"
