My beautiful May 10, 2020 Sunglow Possible Super Sunglow and Jungle Leopard girl has been driving me crazy!😫

She was paired on November 19, 2025 to my Leopard 66% Het Lipstick Albino boy who sired my June 15, 2024 Hypo Leopard litter. They had been locked up for days at a time for over 4 months (with a few breaks for rest and feeding).

I saw what looked like an ovulation, but it must have been a pre-ovulation swell. I figured I had then missed her ovulation since she was always curled up with the male until he lost interest and wanted out of her enclosure. She never had a post ovulation shed (POS), but she stayed curled up on the hot side since I removed the male. She has also been temping at 88 F. Showing promising signs of being gravid. She has continued to stay on the hot side, only moving to the cool side for a drink of water and then right back to the hot side.

All of the years that I have bred boas, I have never experienced this before. So, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. This was after all her first time breeding. Hopefully she is gravid and I can prove my Leopard male 100% Het Lipstick Albino🤞

July 11th can’t get here soon enough!⏳

My May 22, 2020 Possible Super Salmon Hypo Leopard Het Lipstick Albino girl. She was paired to my really red June 17, 2021 Orangetail Hypo Monster Tail Leopard boy. This was their first time breeding.

If all goes well, I’m hoping to produce some of the reddest Hypo and Super Hypo Leopards that I have ever made before.

I love seeing update pics of boas that I have produced. Thanks to my friend Jonathan Reyes for sharing this recent pic of one of my special 2022 Salmon Hypo Leopard Het Lipstick Albino girls😍

The second pic of her is right after her first shed. Some Leopards even Hypo Leopards can get lighter or darker with age, with black scales that come in more and more as they grow. Her transformation is pretty spectacular. Her sister’s transformation is very different, but just as amazing. One of the many reasons I love working with Leopards, each one is so unique😎

The pairing that produced this girl was my 2014 blue eyed Super Salmon Hypo Het Leopard female (she was produced by two Salmon Hypo Double Het Leopard and Lipstick Albinos) paired to my really colorful 2019 Lipstick Albino Leopard male. The grandparents came from the late great Tom Burke.

I love seeing update pics of boas that I have produced. Thanks to my friend Jonathan Reyes for sharing this recent pic of one of my special 2022 Salmon Hypo Leopard Het Lipstick Albino girls😍

The second pic is of her right after her first shed. Some Leopards even Hypo Leopards can get lighter or darker with age and completely transform as adults. Her transformation is pretty mind blowing with black scales that came in as she grew. Her sister’s transformation is also extreme. POS!👍 ~July 11th⏳

Based on her ovulation she is supposed to be due by July 12th (125 days) and based on her Post Ovulation Shed (POS) today, she is supposed to be due by July 11th (105 days) that’s pretty close.

And now we wait…😩

My May 22, 2020 Possible Super Salmon Hypo Leopard Het Lipstick Albino girl was paired to my June 17, 2021 Orangetail Hypo Monster Tail Leopard boy. This was their first time and they have been together since November 17, 2025 (with a few feeding breaks and then re-introductions).

If all goes well, I’m hoping to produce some of the reddest Hypo and Super Hypo Leopards that I have ever made before.

There’s something really special about producing your own dream boas and then watch them grow up to become amazing and trusting adults😎

Quick update video of my holdback May 12, 2022 Salmon Hypo Leopard 100% Het Lipstick Albino boy in his enclosure. I can’t believe he will be 4 years old already this May and he’s still nice and small for an adult male.

I really love his inquisitive nature, his colorful face and his dark Leopard eyes😍

I’m a grandfather again!😊👍

My buddy Daniel Madden just had an amazing looking litter with a very unique looking Salmon Hypo Double Het Leopard & Lipstick Albino boy that I produced back in May 12, 2022. He also owns a really colorful female from the same litter that he’s raising up and will eventually breed.

I can’t wait to see those babies after their first shed and meals. There are some crazy patterned lookers in there!😎

I knew she was a special Hypo Leopard when she was first born😎 She was one of the most colorful babies in the litter, but she didn’t have all of those black scales on top and around her tail area. Such a mind blowing transformation and she kept her amazing red coloration👍
