Meridian Animal Care Center is proud to serve the Meridian area for all your pets health needs. Our veterinary hospital is run by Dr. Alison S. Moore, who is a licensed, experienced Meridian veterinarian and Terry Moore, her husband, who is the practice manager. Dr. Moore attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate work and was accepted into the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine i

n 1996. After graduation, she joined Akin Equine Veterinary Services in June 2000. In January 2003 she and her family moved home to Meridian. She performed relief work for Central Mississippi Animal Clinic in Carthage as well as Seal-Laird Veterinary Hospital in Meridian. She joined the staff of Seal-Laird Veterinary Hospital full time in May 2005. In September 2010 Terry and Alison purchased Pet Services and opened Meridian Animal Care Center, where renovations are currently under way to increase the size of the hospital and boarding facility. Terry Moore attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a B.S. Terry handles the day-to-day operations of running the business. They have four children: Jax, 20 years old and 10 year old triplets, Annalexa, C**t and Jordan. They are active members of Midway Baptist Church.

Today we had the pleasure of taking care of this sweet, handsome boy! 🤩 this is Samson, and he is an Afghan Hound. These breeds are pretty uncommon, and rightfully so. They need someone who is dedicated to understanding their independent nature and their never-ending grooming needs! Samson's mom has him on a two week grooming schedule and brushes him regularly at home to maintain his beautiful coat. We can't wait to see Samson again ✨️

We are happy to announce that we will be offering a new way to communicate with you about your pet! Starting tomorrow, we will be launching Otto. This is a tool to help us better serve you. With the Otto app, you will have access to your pets vaccination history, the ability to request appointments (medical, grooming, boarding, etc), and request refills on food and medication from your phone. Also with Otto, we will be offering to the ability to send text messages with important information such as forms to be filled out ahead of time, payment options, and other updates needed during your pet’s visit! You can download the app and login using your phone number and/or email associated with your account at the clinic. If you need to change this information with us, please give us a call during business hours!

KITTENS FOR ADOPTION!
These 2 babies are looking for their forever home! The black kitten is a male and the tabby kitten is a female. They are about 4 months old. The adoption fee is $35. They will come with their first set of vaccines, a rabies vaccination and deworming. If you are interested, give us a call or come by and see them!
