πΎπ **Celebrating Veterinary Technician Week in Connecticut!** ππΎ
Behind every veterinary team is a group of dedicated professionals who play an essential role in keeping our animals healthy, safe, and cared for. Veterinary technicians bring invaluable skill, medical knowledge, attention to detail, and compassion to every patient they serve. From assisting with diagnostics and treatments to providing comfort, monitoring recovery, and advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves, their contributions to veterinary medicine are truly immeasurable.
As a Connecticut animal rescue, the **Meriden Humane Society** knows firsthand just how important veterinary technicians are. The health and well-being of the animals in our care depend on knowledgeable, compassionate professionals who show up every day ready to make a difference. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and expertise they bring to the animals and communities they serve. πΆπ±
This week, we also want to give a special shout-out to **two of our very own team members!** π
π **Marlene Wall** β MHS Board Member and Veterinary Technician
π **Skylar Bacote** β MHS Cat Staff and Veterinary Technician
Marlene and Skylar wear more than one hat, bringing their veterinary knowledge, experience, and compassion to their work as vet techs while also contributing their time and talents to the Meriden Humane Society. We are fortunate to have them as part of our team and proud of the care they provide to animals both within and beyond our rescue.
**Marlene and Skylar, thank you for all you do for every patient and every MHS animal entrusted to your care.** Your dedication matters, your compassion makes a difference, and the work you do does not go unnoticed. We admire you, appreciate you, and are grateful to have you on our team! ππΎ
Please join us in celebrating Marlene, Skylar, and all the veterinary technicians who make a difference in the lives of animals every single day!
