Towards the end of kitten season, when it’s starting to get very cold at night (and all through the winter) just about every kitten we pick up that was born outdoors has a horrible upper respiratory infection (snot, fevers, horrible/painful pink eye, lethargy, and not wanting to eat). These guys have weak immune systems and often will not survive without medical intervention. Being in the cold is too much for their little bodies 💔
Please, if you see unfixed outdoor cats around your home or place of work, make plans to get them TNR’d BEFORE they have kittens.
