We have some pretty exciting news to share! 🥹🐾🏆

Play & Stay Pet Retreat has been voted 1st Place for Best Daycare/Boarding in the 2026 Downeast Dog News Best of the Best awards!

And that’s not all! Our groomer Jess tied for 3rd Place for Best Groomer, and Morgan’s Pine State Shepherds Training received 3rd Place for Best Trainer! ❤️

Having opened our doors earlier this year, we’re incredibly grateful for the love and support our community has shown us. Every day, families trust us with their beloved pets, and that’s something we never take lightly.

To everyone who voted, recommended us, or trusted us with your four-legged family members, THANK YOU! This recognition means so much to our entire team!

We’re honored to serve this wonderful community and look forward to many more happy tails ahead! 🐾❤️

Fewer daycare photos today, but WAY more Halloween fun! 🎃

Every pup (including our boarding guests!) joined in on our Halloween photo shoot… and we still managed to capture a few daycare snapshots!

Stay tuned for some adorable spooky faces! 👻🧡

Alissa’s dogs volunteered to help test out the Halloween photo props for Tuesday! 🎃🕷️

They took their modeling duties very seriously… especially once they realized treats were part of the deal. 😂🐾

We’re getting ready for some spooky, silly, and downright adorable Halloween portraits, and we’d love to get your pup in front of the camera!

📸 Tuesday, October 20th
🐾 $15 per dog | 2–5 edited photos
🎃 Costumes welcome, but not required!

Play & Stay clients are welcome to walk in from 1–2 PM!

Check out this before & after! 🐾✨

This sweet girl enjoyed a de-shedding treatment during her boarding stay, and just LOOK at the difference! 👀

Less loose fur, a fresh coat, and one happy pup ready to head home! 💛

Same skill. Three VERY different approaches. 😂🐾

Yesterday at Day School, Finley, Mango, and Frankie practiced a new skill called “touch,” where they learn to touch their nose to the palm of Morgan’s hand.

Sounds simple enough, right? 🤣

Three different personalities, three little brains hard at work, and a whole lot of entertainment along the way. ❤️
