Meet our special kitty, Roomba.
"This sweet boy had a rough start- surviving outside for what we can only assume was most of his life. Estimating to be around 6 years old, Roomba is now safe, warm, and loved all thanks to an awesome individual who stepped up to give him a chance.
Since he was found as a stray - this is what we've learned about him so far:
Roomba's lack of ears is due to severe frostbite. Yes, he can still hear us, he just doesn't have those fuzzy triangles on top of his head like other felines do. He has scars, healing scabs, and marks that will stay with him for life.
He will need his little ears occasionally cleaned out since they were very full of debris and dirt.
He's got lots of wear on his teeth, some even broken. We always recommend having a vet keep an eye on this just in case he does develop any pain or sensitivity in the future.
Somewhere along the line, Roomba was failed by people. But this hasn't prevented him from loving everyone he meets, leaning in for pets, purring, and even getting excited for a wet food treat!
Roomba would likely do best in a lower traffic home where he can finally sprawl out in a comfy spot with his new favorite people.
