This team right here 🩵 Putting in the work, hitting goals, and making strides together. This is what it’s all about. We have fun with our dogs, celebrate the wins, learn from the challenges, and enjoy the ride along the way! This last weekend, we quietly hit a pretty big milestone: for the first time, our club successfully fielded two lineups together. 🎉 Back in June, we had two lineups, but spent the weekend riding the struggle bus. 😅 This weekend, all those struggles seemed to evaporate into thin air! Both teams held their own, with Regular Nuclear Reaction placing 1st both days and Open Bombs Away placing 2nd both days. ☢️💣
And, of course, we have plenty of individual brags to celebrate!
🎉 We debuted our fourth GSP, Nitro, with a new handler, Taylor Wenstad! Nitro even earned himself his FD and FDX titles and set a PB of 5.461! Our team has officially cornered the market on GSPs in a single club. 😆
⚡ Walter dropped a new PB of 5.012! He continues to amaze us with every tournament and just keeps showing us how much he can GROW.
🎉 SNP earned himself a shiny new FDCh-S title to take home!
☢️ Marzipan didn't drop a single ball all weekend. Her love for this game continues to radiate!
🩵 Mia and Carrie Weringa Bohlman worked on their rerun skills, continuing to deepen their understanding of the game we all love.
🍪 Ouija still loves running for anyone with a cookie—including, but not limited to, junior handlers. 😆
🏁 Ziggy, Daryl, and Zissou all got some lane time and worked toward our racing goals, each giving us valuable feedback to take home and build on in training.
A huge thank you to TCOTC for hosting such a fun tournament. It was great to be back at home base! Enormous thank you to Nose to Nose Flyball Club for Zissou's warm-up spot. It is very much appreciated—and very much needed—as we continue to grow! 🩵 Finally, thank you to Stephanie Moore for being so kind and helping our green handler with passing. It's pretty awesome knowing we can count on our community when we need a little help.
So proud of this team, these dogs, and all the work happening behind the scenes. We're growing, learning, and having a heck of a lot of fun doing it. 🩵☢️💣
