Introducing Amelia, Andy & Audrey — three tiny troublemakers who will be hanging out with GMPR for a while! 🐶🐶🐶

They’re currently busy with very important puppy business: eating, sleeping, growing, wrestling and causing general chaos. 😂💕

They’re still too young for all of their vaccines and spay/neuter, so they won’t be ready for adoption just yet.

We’ll share plenty of updates as they grow, and once they’re fully vetted and ready for forever homes, we’ll post their official adoption bios. 🏡❤️

Until then… enjoy watching Amelia, Andy & Audrey grow up and run the place! 🐾😂💕

💔🐾 MEET BUDDY 🐾💔

Buddy is a 6-year-old French Bulldog who has been through more than any dog should.

He came to us suffering from long-term ear and skin infections, significant hair loss, and painful, irritated skin. He recently underwent a procedure to drain a large hematoma from his ear and also suffers from severe dry eyes.

And while we're finally getting Buddy the care he desperately needed, he still has a long way to go in his recovery as we work to get his skin, ears and eyes healthy and comfortable. ❤️‍🩹

But here's the part that gets us...

After everything he's been through, Buddy is still SO incredibly sweet. 🥹❤️

He loves people and absolutely lives for attention and pets. He'll even get vocal when he thinks you've stopped petting him too soon—or when dinner is running late! 😂 His foster mom describes him as sweet, submissive and easygoing.
🐶 Good with other dogs
👧 LOVES kids and is wonderful with his foster family's 10-year-old daughter
🦴 No resource guarding
🚗 Good in the car
🦮 Walks well on leash
🏡 Doing great with house training—unless it's raining, because apparently Buddy is made of sugar. 😂☔

Buddy doesn't love being alone and would do best with someone who is home much of the time or with a doggy companion. He simply wants to be near someone who loves him. ❤️

His forever family will need to be committed to continuing his care. Buddy is prone to allergies and may require a strict diet, medications, medicated baths, eye care and ongoing veterinary care to keep him feeling his best. His foster family is currently giving him medicated baths three times a week while his skin heals.

Buddy's body tells the story of what he's endured.

Now we want the rest of his life to tell a completely different story. ❤️‍🩹

A story filled with healthy skin, comfortable ears, soothing care for his eyes, soft beds, full bellies, lots of attention and a family who makes sure this sweet boy never has to suffer in silence again.

We can't undo what happened to Buddy.

But we can make sure that from this point forward, he knows nothing but love. 🥹🐾

🏡❤️ Buddy still has healing to do. We're looking for the special family willing to heal right alongside him and give him the happily ever after he's always deserved.

Buddy is currently on medical hold. We are not accepting applications at this time. His adoption fee is $375.

🖤🐾 MEET PATRICK! 🐾🖤

Patrick is an approximately 4-year-old black Pug mix—and we think there may be a little French Bulldog in there too. Those BIG floppy ears definitely have us wondering! 😂👂

Patrick came to GMPR from a hoarding situation and had a pretty rough start. He was covered in fleas with hair loss, scabs and irritated skin from all the scratching. But despite everything he's been through, Patrick is one HAPPY, loving little guy! ❤️

And when we say loving, we mean LOVING. 😂 Patrick wants to be with his people ALL the time. His ideal sleeping arrangement? Head on your pillow or neck, preferably tucked under the blankets and held like a baby. 🥹

Patrick's favorite things:
❤️ SNUGGLES!�☀️ Sunbathing�🌳 Running around outside�🚗 Car rides�🛁 Baths�🍗 FOOD & all the treats�👩‍🦰 Being wherever his people are

🧸 Toys? He could take them or leave them. Why play with toys when you could sit in someone's lap?!

🐶 Patrick has done well with other dogs, including big dogs at the dog park and pups at a pug meetup. He does LOVE food and will try to help himself to the other dogs' meals, so he needs to be fed separately to avoid any disagreements.
🐱 He previously lived with cats.

🏡 Potty training is still a work in progress, but considering Patrick had never been allowed outside before, he's doing great! He immediately figured out the doggy door and is learning how this whole leash-walking thing works too. 👏

🩺 His skin is still healing from a previous infection, so he'll need medicated baths until it's fully cleared up and weekly ear cleanings to help prevent future infections. He's not a huge fan of ear cleaning, but treats afterward make everything better! 😂

This sweet boy has already been through enough. Now he's ready for the good stuff: snuggles, sunshine, full bellies, cozy blankets and a family who absolutely adores him. 🥹❤️

🐾💙 GET READY TO RUMBLE! 💙🐾

Meet Rubble, a handsome 1.5-year-old Frenchton who is ready to wiggle his way into his forever home! 🏡❤️
Rubble is a fun, sweet little dude who has quickly figured out the foster-home life: play with your buddies, go for walkies, follow your human around, eat snacks, and then hit the couch for a well-earned snooze. 😂
A few things you should know about Rubble:

🐶 Dog friendly! He needed a little help learning doggy boundaries at first, but quickly figured it out and is now BFFs with his foster brother.

👧 Kid approved! Rubble has met kids ages 1–10 and handled all the excitement like a champ. He was curious, friendly and wanted to be part of the fun!

🏡 Doing great with house training! He caught onto his foster home's routine quickly. He may need a little refresher after another move, but consistency should keep him on track.

💤 Crate trained! He sleeps quietly in his crate and does well there when his foster family is away.

🧀 Snack enthusiast! Cheese is a BIG yes, but this sophisticated gentleman also enjoys blueberries and cucumbers. 😂 He's shown no food or resource guarding and happily eats around the other dogs.

🚶 Loves walks�🚗 Enjoys car rides�🛋️ Becoming a professional snuggler�🧸 Loves his toy basket�😴 Plays hard for 10 minutes...then it's nap time

Rubble can be a little cautious at first, but give him some time and you'll soon have a sweet little shadow following you around and snuggling beside you on the couch. His foster family says he's been an easy, fantastic houseguest who could make a wonderful addition to almost any home. 🥰

💙 Walkies + snacks + snuggles + a little Frenchton mischief = RUBBLE!

🏖️🐾 GMPR’s Pug Beach Party at Pug Camp !🐾🏖️

What a pug-tastic day! 💦☀️ GMPR held a Pug Beach Party at Pug Camp today, and we had so much fun celebrating with our amazing pug community!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the rescue! Your love and support mean the world to us. 💚

And, of course, the highlight of the event was the Pug Swimsuit Contest! 👙🐶 So many adorable pugs showed up, strutted their stuff, and absolutely slayed the runway in their swimsuits! 😂🏆

We’re pretty sure these pugs have officially earned the title of best-dressed beachgoers! 🌴😎

🖤🖤 Meet Momo & Barron! 🖤🖤

Double the pugs. Double the love. Double the snuggles.

These 7-year-old bonded black pug brothers have spent their entire lives together, and now they're looking for a forever family who will love them both just as much as they love each other. ❤️

🐾 Barron is the confident, outgoing big brother who greets everyone with a wagging tail and a happy smile. He loves walks, treats, and making sure Momo knows everything is going to be okay.

🐾 Momo is the sweet, gentle soul of the pair. He can be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he's incredibly affectionate. His favorite place in the world? Right next to Barron. Watching these two cuddle and seeing Barron give Momo little kisses will absolutely melt your heart.

These boys are everything you could ask for:🖤 Great with other dogs🖤 Friendly and affectionate🖤 Excellent at the vet🖤 Wonderful on leash walks🖤 Quiet travelers in the car🖤 Love cuddles and being close to their people🖤 No food or toy aggression (although Barron does think everyone's dinner belongs to him! 😂)

They're making great progress with house training and thrive on a consistent routine. Because they adore being with their people, they'd do best in a home where someone is around much of the day. Whether they're following you from room to room, soaking up the sunshine, or snuggled together for a nap, these boys simply want to be loved.

Some bonds are forever... and Momo and Barron's is one of them. 🥹🖤 If you open your heart to these two, you'll receive twice the loyalty, twice the laughs, and twice the love.
