In February 2024, after experiencing a string of seizures, a golden retriever named Barley was diagnosed with epilepsy. Medication made the seizures stop, but it also dulled her personality.

Our team at Village Veterinary has undergone a few exciting changes and we'd love to update you, our lovely clients!

Welcome!!
First off, we are thrilled to welcome our newest veterinarian, Dr. Andria Lessler, working alongside Dr. Christina Venable and Dr. Diva Gallo, supported by our dedicated team.

Hooray for Saturdays!!
As many of you may already be aware, with Dr. Lessler's arrival we are now able to offer appointments on most Saturdays between 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm. (closed between 12-2pm for lunch). To support staff wellbeing, we will be closed generally one Saturday per month subject to change.

WEEKDAY After-hours Care updates:
* A veterinarian is available ON CALL for LIFE THREATENING EMERGENCIES FROM 5:00-7:00pm M-F.
* To reach the on-call Dr., TEXT 707-937-0300.
* After hours Veterinarian phone consultations/assistance generally incur fee(s).

WEEKEND Availability:
*On the Saturdays that we are CLOSED, a veterinarian will be available ON-CALL between 9am-5pm and Sundays from 9am-2pm via TEXT to 707-937-0300 *fee(s) generally apply for consultations/assistance.

It is with great sadness that we must say farewell to Kristen’s beloved dog Lulu. She has been a constant companion to everyone here at the clinic, coming to the office every day, unassumingly resting at Kristen’s feet. Her sweet and quiet presence was comforting to many four legged patients as well, and as they passed by, Lulu seemed to say to them, “Hello friend, don’t worry, they will take good care of you here”.

Lulu will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but especially Kristen who had her heart and soul. They were inseparable and no one could deny the love between them.

Lulu celebrated her 17th birthday earlier this month and we will continue to celebrate her with warm, happy memories of the truly remarkable dog that she was.
