BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 📣 🐾✨

Some of you may have heard that Minna is starting a new chapter and relocating to Illinois!

I (Abby) am so excited to finally share this with you all… over the next few months, I will officially be taking over as the new owner of the business. 🤍 I am beyond grateful and honored to continue what Minna has built here.
For those of you who may not know, I’ve been part of this team for 5 years now and getting to know you and your pets has truly meant everything to me. Being able to step into this role is a dream come true! 🐶🐱
The best part? Nothing you love is changing—just the ownership and eventually a new name!
You’ll still see the same faces, the same care, and the same love for your pets every single day. 💛

Hello everyone! We’d like to take this time to introduce ourselves and our pups.

At McLovin, animals aren’t just our job—they’re our heart. These are the faces behind McLovin Pet Spa! With decades of hands-on experience, our team is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care for every pet that walks through our doors.

Minna, owner and founder, has over 25 years of grooming experience and has proudly owned McLovin for more than 15 years. She named the business after her beloved boxer, McLovin—yes, inspired by the movie Superbad—who played a huge role in her love for animals and commitment to their care. Minna is also the owner and founder of Boxnen Boxers. She breeds and trains European Boxers and has shown as well as competed regionally, nationally, and internationally. Her favorite breed is obviously the European Working Line Boxer.

Abby, our groomer and trainer with over 10 years of experience working closely with animals. Her calm approach, skill, and dedication help pets feel comfortable while supporting their training and grooming needs. Her passion for animals is endless and is extremely passionate about working with anxious and aggressive animals who may be unsure about the grooming process. Her favorite breed is the Working Line German Shepherd.

Cami, our kennel attendant, has over 10 years of experience working with and training animals. She ensures every pet is cared for, safe, and treated like family while in our facility. She enjoys spending time with the animals in our care and ensures their happiness while at our facility. Her favorite breed is the mini Daschund.

Every day, we choose to put the animal first. Our goal is to create a space where pets feel safe and comfortable—and where owners feel confident and at ease trusting us with their furry family members.

We look forward to continuing our care for your animals and provided the utmost respect to you as well!
