Somewhere along the way, somebody gave up on them.

Maybe they were unwanted. Maybe misunderstood. Maybe neglected. Maybe their circumstances simply changed through no fault of their own.

But their story didn’t end there. ❤️🐴

At Moon Mountain Sanctuary & Rescue, saving horses isn’t just about giving them somewhere to stand. It’s about giving them a place to heal, trust again, and simply be a horse.

These two don’t know anything about fundraising, feed bills, vet visits, fencing, volunteers, or the countless hours that go into rescue.

They just know they’re safe.

And really, that’s the whole point.

Every horse deserves another chapter.
Every rescue deserves a chance.
And sometimes, saving one life changes a few human ones along the way, too.

This is Moon Mountain. This is why we do it. 🌙⛰️🐴❤️

So is been a little over 3 years since the Moon started. It's been quite a journey.
This is Little Danny the very first Moon baby ever adopted from beginning when he was a very sick little orphan baby to now a beautiful healthy boy !
This IS our mission right here... forever homes for all our babies. Long live Moon babies ! We love you all !!l❤️❤️❤️❤️
