🐾💙 VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK IS COMING! 💙🐾

October 18th–24th is Veterinary Technician Week, and we’re getting ready to celebrate the incredible veterinary technicians who work so hard every day to care for our patients and support our hospital! 🩺🐶🐱

Our technicians are truly the backbone of veterinary medicine. From patient care and anesthesia monitoring to assisting with procedures, educating clients, comforting scared pets, and doing all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our hospital moving — they do SO much! ❤️

✨ WE ARE LOOKING FOR OUR AMAZING VENDOR PARTNERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO HELP US SPONSOR VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! ✨

🐾 Meet Our New Veterinarian — Dr. Boutwell! 🐾

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Boutwell to the PetVax Midtown team as our new full-time veterinarian! ❤️

Dr. Boutwell brings years of experience in emergency medicine, critical care, preventative medicine, dentistry, and dermatology. After beginning her veterinary career as a Certified Veterinary Technologist, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2019.

Originally from Mississippi, Dr. Boutwell recently made Memphis home to be closer to family, and we couldn’t be happier to have her caring for our Midtown pets and families!

Her passion for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and client education makes her a wonderful addition to our clinic. 🩺🐶🐱

When she’s away from the clinic, she enjoys arts and crafts, board games, aquascaping, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their many beloved pets.

Zen is a 2-year-old husky who is 90% fluff, 10% attitude, and 100% unbothered.

He ignores commands like it’s a personality trait, screams for fun, and has decided Leah (practice manager, obviously) is his emotional support human.
