Update on Finn ā¤ļø
From āunadoptable and needs to be euthanizedā to couch potato and lap dog!!!
We were questioned many times over the years on why we would put so much money and time into vetting and care for dogs that could never go anywhere and this right here is the answer!
They have endured the unimaginable. They have been through hell and back. They have every right to be mean and aggressive but they also deserve a chance. They deserve the opportunity to be the best dog they can possibly be.
Finn was the last of our dogs to be placed. He was abandoned at our facility over four years ago and overlooked time and time again. It was touch and go in the beginning but once he learned to trust us, he transformed into the most amazing little pup. He was fantastic with all other animals and quickly became our go to boy if another pup needed to be dog tested, but he absolutely hated people he didnāt know. So he sat here year after year with no family to call his own other than us. A couple months back we were able to get him into a training consult and he did fantastic so we put out multiple pleas for adopters once again. Finn had several inquiries but none followed through because he was just too dangerous. We took the chance as a last effort to get Finn into a home and enrolled him in a two week board and train program. Once again he did amazing! He played with animals of all kinds and even did great with kids. He was an all around great dog.
We are happy to announced that Finn is now in his forever home!! š„°š„° He went from āmean and aggressiveā to a velcro dog. He follows his mom around everywhere and loves his four legged siblings. He loves attention and cuddles but his favorite activity is being a couch potato.
We love all the āFinnsā out there and are so thankful to those that gave them a chance!
Please donāt overlook the shy, scared, and aggressive dogs. Listen to their caretakers when they say these dogs are actually amazing when they trust you. They truly are the best ones when given the opportunity.
