🌳 Gratitude in full bloom!

We’re so thankful to gather yesterday with our friends from Memphis Friends Meeting (Quakers) — partners in purpose and co-sponsors of the Frayser Food Forest Project.

Back in January, together we planted over 32 native trees, generously provided by Memphis Native Tree Works. Each tree is more than a seedling — it’s an investment in the future of Frayser, a living promise to combat food insecurity and restore balance to our community.

Today’s community potluck celebrates that shared vision of nourishment, sustainability, and fellowship. The roots we’ve planted are growing strong — both in the soil and in our hearts. 💚

It truly takes a village to grow a garden—and we’re feeling the love!

Huge thanks to our friends at Crawford’s Garden Starters .crawford.54 in Whitehaven and Spirit Hill Japanese Maple Nursery in Millington for their generous donations of veggie starters and beautiful trees. Their contributions will bring fresh life and vibrant color to the Frayser Urban Garden this season.

When community partners come together, we all grow. We’re also grateful for the ongoing support of Clean Memphis—your commitment keeps our roots strong.
