We want to address something important with the ReptileAds community.
Yesterday, a small number of bad actors made it through and sent scam messages to some users. We responded immediately, rolled out protections last night, and after seeing further attempts today, we’ve already strengthened those systems again. These situations are an unfortunate reality for any growing platform, but rapid response and continuous improvement are what matter, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.
We also want to clear up a potential point of confusion. As part of cleaning this up, we have removed all known scam inquiries from the platform. However, we cannot recall emails or notifications that were already sent. This means you may receive a notification about a new inquiry, log in, and see no message there. If that happens, it is simply a result of us removing the malicious content as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while we make sure everything is fully cleaned up.
To be absolutely clear, ReptileAds will never send you a message asking you to copy and paste a link or send money. Any official communication from us will either come through email or appear inside the platform as a clearly marked administrative message with a distinct look.
If you ever receive a message that seems suspicious, do not click anything. Instead, go directly to the website, log in yourself, and report it through our system.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we truly appreciate the community’s support and vigilance. We’re committed to keeping ReptileAds safe, secure, and moving forward.
