🐾🍂 Fall Into a Forever Friendship This Saturday! 🍂🐾

There’s just something special about this time of year. The weather starts to almost cooperate here in Florida, pumpkin-flavored everything appears overnight, and our cats and kittens start dreaming about cozy homes, sunny windows, and humans to call their own.

This Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, we'll be back at Petco (West Melbourne) with a wonderful group of adoptable cats and kittens looking for their happily-ever-afters.

Some of them are outgoing and ready to introduce themselves the moment you walk in. Others are taking a more strategic approach, relying on adorable head tilts, tiny purrs, and irresistible slow blinks to do the work for them. Either way, they're all hoping this will be the weekend their forever family arrives.

Whether you're looking for a playful kitten, a loyal companion, or a professional lap warmer, we'd love for you to stop by and meet the amazing cats in our care. Our volunteers will be there to help answer questions, introduce personalities, and help guide you toward the perfect match.

🌟 FOUND CAT — PLEASE HELP US FIND HIS FAMILY! 🌟

Over the weekend, a very sweet young male tabby was brought into our rescue after a Good Samaritan found him in Southside Lakeland. He had followed the finder’s daughter home, and they immediately took him to a local veterinary clinic to get help.

💛 What we know:

- Brown & white male tabby
- Approximately 6 months old
- Microchipped, but sadly not registered
- Found in Southside Lakeland (no further location details provided)
- X‑rays show a fractured pelvis, but he’s in good spirits and expected to recover
- Extremely friendly, sweet, and social — possibly someone’s beloved pet

Thanks to the Good Samaritan and a caring tech at the veterinary clinic, he is now safe, comfortable, and receiving the care and cage rest he needs while he heals.

✨ We are hoping to reunite him with his owner.
If you recognize this boy, or believe he may belong to someone you know, please reach out to us right away. His personality and demeanor make it clear he has known love — and we would be thrilled to help him get back home.

📣 Please share this post, especially with friends and neighbors in the Lakeland area. The more eyes we reach, the better chance we have of finding his family.

Together, we can help this sweet boy get back where he belongs. 💕

🐾✨ Leo’s Big Question… Will This Be His Weekend? ✨🐾

Leo has been pacing around his kitten condo all week, practicing his cutest poses and wondering — truly wondering — how he didn’t get scooped up last Saturday.

Especially since nine other cats and kittens were adopted… including his sister.

She left in a tiny pink carrier, blew him a dramatic “see ya, bro!” whisker kiss, and Leo has been in his feelings ever since.

I mean… he’s got the cuteness factor, the purr engine, the belly‑rub readiness, and a face that could convince anyone to cancel their plans and stay home snuggling. Yet somehow, he went home with us instead of you.

Now Leo is staring out the window like a tiny, fluffy philosopher contemplating life’s greatest mysteries:

“Was it my timing? My whisker angle? Did I blink at the wrong moment? Should I have flopped sooner?”

He’s determined to get it right this time.

He’s been practicing his slow blink.

He’s been perfecting his flop.

He’s even been working on his “pick me!” face in the mirror — and honestly, it’s award‑winning.

Leo is ready, hopeful, and crossing his little paws that this Saturday, October 3, is finally his moment.

📍 Petco – West Melbourne (Hammock Landing)
⏰ Saturday, October 3 | 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Come meet Leo and help him solve the mystery of why he’s still single. He’s convinced the right person is out there — maybe it’s you.

✨ And keep your eyes peeled tomorrow… we’ll be announcing the full kitten lineup for the event, and trust us, it’s a crowd you’ll want to meet.

Leo says he’ll be waiting — belly exposed, purrs loaded, hope activated. 💛🐾
