Who uses an app to track their ball pythons? 🙋🏻‍♀️ I do. And I’ll be honest over the years no app has fully given me what I’ve needed. They were too simple with not enough features, too complicated I needed a degree to figure it out. Well because of this, my husband Daniel and I have been working tirelessly to bring something to the ball python community to help streamline our hobby. Meet SlytherSync! Between Daniel’s tech-savvy know how, and my experience with other reptiles keeping apps and with my own 150+ ball pythons, we’ve created something beautiful that I’m excited to begin talking about. We are working to release this to the community (only ball pythons for now, sorry) and have a few beta testers that get to try for FREE. This opportunity to try SlytherSync for free won’t last long. Who remembers sweet Ducky? I had stopped updating about him because honestly, he really started to thrive. He started out as a tiny tiny dude and he scared me with how weak he was coming out of the egg. I’m glad my husband urged me not to give up on him because Ducky just turned 1 year old !!!! I couldn’t trust this guy with just anyone way back then. I didn’t want to stop getting updates, and I wanted to watch him grow up. With this in mind, I entrusted him to one of my very best friends, Teri. In her care, he is truly thriving. I believe he is still a bit “special” and may need some special attention as he ages but I know Teri will make sure he gets the care he needs! He even eats frozen thawed like a champ 🥳 we love you Ducky. Keep being you. 🥹 - MaryBeth

Today I learned that a cinnamon Mojave pied can be all white 🤣 thanks to my more experienced breeder friends for helping solve that one quickly. I was really scratching my head and feeling quite dumb 🫠 - MaryBeth

I dabble in some other species to have for fun. I got this girl today from Dale at Dale Richards at the Daytona expo! She is super sweet and curious. I’ve named her Umbra and I am in love 😍🖤

A boxing video for one of the sumas that went to FedEx today! This baby will be a surprise for some very lucky kids 🥰 i hate to be in front of the camera but i want people to see the face behind the scenes. A tired face, but working hard behind the scenes for my animals. Thanks for everyone’s support! Alright, so I shed tested both all black snakes through RGI , this is the slightly less dark of the 2 females. I wasn’t sure whether she was an 8-ball mahogany, or a suma plus cinny or BP. No mahogany test exists yet (which I didn’t know) so I submitted both cinny and BP for both girls. This is female #2 and she is negative for black pastel. This means she MUST be a suma cinnamon and not any type of 8-ball. Cinnamon takes weeks for RGI to get back but I’m confident with her genetics now that I know she’s not BP. I just listed this girl up for sale on morph market, she is eating great, a little spicy but calms down fine I think she’ll tame up just fine for anyone with a little handling. Check her out! The first picture is what I believe are 2.0 suma black pastels and the last 2 picture is a 1.0 suma (although he is darker than many sumas I’ve seen).
