Hey! I'm Abbie. You've probably seen me here before but here's some things you may not know about me:
1. I have endometriosis & autoimmune arthritis (JIA). I haven't said much about my health issues online but they are there. If you're struggling to chase your dreams because of your health, just know you are far from alone.
2. The only animals I currently own are my 4 horses: Koda, Chester, Hickory, and Patriot. I often post the other critters at WDR and I have a good relationship with the others, but those 4 are the only ones that I actually own.
3. The Flying W Diamond brand is my brand passed down through my "stepped up" family, aka passed down through my family. That brand will only go on equines and bovines that I own and represent my personal program. My brand is used as the WDR logo and basically I do the social media, some of the ranch management, and provide the logo for WDR.
4. I am Equine Assisted Learning Facilitation Certified x3 through the OK Corral Series.
5. I am an aspiring 4 generation farrier. I don't know if I will go to school and get my CF, but I do trim my own currently and plan to learn blacksmithing and shoeing. I have a fascination with the function of the hoof as well as corrective trimming.
6. I bought Koda (the horse in the video) when I was 12 as my first project. I've had her for 8 years now. Hard to believe how crazy (out of fear) she used to be.
7. I love creating videos and posts but I actually hate social media, especially everything it's become since generative AI has become mainstream. It's quite the ironic paradox. It's in part why I haven't been posting much lately, I also keep a lot of my life private because of my situationship with social media.
8. I got married at 19. My husband and I have been together 4 years, and married for 1 year. We met through a mustang makeover. Sometimes he pops up in my videos
9. I love to craft and write when I have the rare bit of time to do so. I can crochet, knit, sew, put eyes in yacht rope, braid, tie halters, etc.
10. My town job involves graphic design and marketing content creation for an equipment rental, sales, and repair company.
