🐾 A Little Update from The Downtown Dog 🐾

I wanted to take a moment to update my wonderful clients and let you know where things stand right now.

At this time, I am doing my best to continue grooming one day a week, on Fridays. My mom is dealing with some pretty serious health issues right now, and my main focus needs to be on her, getting her to her appointments, helping care for her, and doing everything I can to help her get healthier.

Because of this, I may not always be able to respond to messages, calls, or appointment requests right away. Please be patient with me. I promise I am not ignoring you, and I will get back to you as soon as I am able. ❤️

I know this may be inconvenient, and I truly appreciate your understanding and kindness during this difficult season. I am incredibly grateful for every single one of my clients who continues to support The Downtown Dog and understands that sometimes life requires us to slow down and put family first.

Thank you for being patient with me, for continuing to support my small business, and most importantly, for being so understanding. It means more to me than you know. 🐾❤️

🐾 The King of Dirty Looks 🐾
There is nothing quite like the bond you build with a senior dog—especially one with a massive personality!
This handsome guy right here might give his mom a bit of a "spicy" attitude at home, but the second he gets on my table? An absolute, perfect gentleman. 👑
While he’s on his very best behavior for his spa days, he is also the undisputed King of Dirty Looks. I get the side-eye, the and that classic judgment that only a senior dog can truly master. But beneath all that royal attitude, he has a huge piece of my heart.
As our furry friends get older, grooming becomes less about a perfect trim and so much more about comfort, patience, and a whole lot of mutual respect (even if it comes with a side of sass).
Thank you for always being such a good boy for me, Your Majesty. Even with the dirty looks, you’re worth every single second! 🤍

I know, I know…. I have to do better about taking photos! I am the worst! lol We have so many amazing pups every week. I promise I will try to do better! Just know if I forget to take a photo of your pup it is only because I am VERY forgetful. We love every single fur kid that comes in our door! And we truly appreciate all of our clients! Without all of you I wouldn’t be able to do the work I love some much!!!! We have the BEST clients!
This is the Magnificat Maggie. She is a sweet and sassy Shih Tzu.
And Princess, the Golden Doodle, who lives up to her royal name. 🐾❤️

Meet Rowdy. 😆

If there were an award for “Most Dramatic Grooming Appointment,” Rowdy would win it every single time.

From the moment he arrives, he makes sure everyone knows exactly how he feels about being groomed. He has lots of opinions, and he’s not afraid to share them! 🎤🐾

But between all the complaints, grumbles, and dramatic speeches, Rowdy sneaks in for a few snuggles and reminds us that underneath all that sass is a sweet little guy who actually likes us… just not the grooming part. ❤️

We love you, Rowdy — even when you’re filing formal complaints throughout your entire appointment! 😂🐶
