A dimly lit street lies before you, the pavement with its cracks similar to a child's drawing. Stoic oak trees stand on either side, like sentinels guarding against the night, with street lamp lights feebly holding the dark at bay showing the wandering traveler the way home. As the wind whips around you, gently encouraging you homeward, you see two pairs of eyes reflecting the street lights, slowly getting closer and closer. Frozen with uncertainty, the moment seems to slowly stretch out, your breathing ragged, your pulse doing its best at impersonating bongo drums in your ears. At the last moment, with immense relief that washes over your body, it becomes clear that those ever watching eyes belong to Donald and Sista, the neighborhood watch here to walk you home in safety.
🥳Congratulations to Donald and Sista for winning this week's Pet of the Week! 🎊Yay!😀🎉 They are the last of the Sausage Stables line that were raised here in Southern Oregon. 😭 As you can tell from the photo, they are a super bonded pair of siblings. They're ready to protect their home and family from any person or critter that tries to enter unlawfully!👀
Submissions are now live for next week's Pet of the Week! We will accept photos to our phone number 541-772-2222 until Monday afternoon at 5:00pm.
