There will be two September Pet of the Week Drawings - September 8th and 21st.
Submissions for the first drawing on September 8th are now closed.
Submissions for the second drawing will be accepted until September 17th.

All submissions will need to be submitted in the comments of this post. It will be pinned on our page for easy access. After each drawing, I will delete all previous submissions. Each month I will update the submission dates! Any questions, please send us a message 🧐😊

You've all waited so patiently, so here's the long awaited winner for Pet of the Week!

This week we're celebrating Quetzal as our Pet of the Week winner! He's a 14 year old chihuahua who is the sweetestestestestestest boi ever! 🐶In addition to being a self proclaimed sheep herder🐑 (which begets so many questions in my mind), when it comes to laps and napping he is the chief quality check inspector🧐! OSHA must love this little guy for all his hard work! 🦺 Congratulations Quetzal for winning Pet of the Week!🎉🎊🏆📣

We are going to try something new-ish. Pet of the Week will now happen twice a month. There will be a scheduled event on the last day for submission. For example there is an event scheduled this Thursday. Please submit all photos/submissions in the comment section there. This week we're proud to announce our new "self-recognized" Employee of the Year!😱 The title goes to Sophie, one of our vet techs who's been with us for a couple years.🩺 We selected her as our Employee of the Year because she was recently accepted and is heading off to veterinary school soon!!🎉🎊 Congratulations Sophie! In just a blink of an eye, we'll be saying DVM Sophie - ain't that a trip?! 🥼

Today we say farewell (not goodbye) as she finishes her last day with us. Definitely was bittersweet all around; possibly from all the cake and cookies that were eaten. 🎂🍪

We'll miss her, but so proud of how far she's going to go! Here are some descriptors her coworkers had to say about her: Passionate, compassionate, absolutely brilliant, kind-hearted, well-loved, bright, friendly, lovable, cheerful, approachable, charismatic, highly intelligent, lover of lettuce, "rhubarb of my eye", sunshine incarnate, funny, outgoing, amazing, meticulous, grounding, caring, inspiring, gracious... This week we're celebrating Ms. Yuki as the winner of Pet of the Week! She's a little over 1.5 years old. She loves to cuddle while chewing on your hand - more she enjoys hand chewing while cuddling? Who knows the inner workings of a cat? Just like human siblings, she loves to torment her own sister when she has free time. She's a mischievous bundle of joy and her family is so happy to have her. She works hard, as pictured. Congratulations Yuki on your success!! 🎉🎊🏆👏🏽🫶🏽
