Because training isn't just about teaching your dog what to do - it's about creating a dog who is happy, grounded, resilient, and confident. Making owners feel capable of giving their dog a fulfilling life.

From enrichment and everyday skills to fitness, conditioning, adventures, and lifelong development, there's always another way to grow together. Yes, dogs of all ages can benefit! Puppies, adult dogs, active dogs, and seniors all have different ways to build capability and enjoy life.

This is about making the most of the years we get with our dogs.

With this heat wave we wanted to make sure you are informed.

A little preparation goes a long way in preventing heat-related emergencies. Take a minute to review these quick tips so you know how to prevent overheating, recognize the warning signs, and respond if your dog gets into trouble.

The best treatment for heat stroke is always prevention. If you ever think your dog is overheating, don’t wait- cool them down safely and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and give your pups plenty of indoor enrichment until the temperatures come back down! 💙❄️

❤️🤍💙 Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, it’s a time to remember and honor those who served and never made it home.

We also recognize the military working dogs who have served alongside them with loyalty, courage, and dedication. Their sacrifices and service deserve to be remembered too.

As you spend time with family, friends, and your dogs today, we hope you take a moment to remember those who gave so much.

📢Paws & Feet 2026, Who’s joining Team A Balanced Canine?!

This is one of our favorite dog events of the year, and we’d love to see our clients, Canicross teams, and canine fitness crews come out to join Team A Balanced Canine for either the 5K or mile walk!

Not only are you supporting an amazing cause, but it’s also such a fun way to get out, move with your dog, and spend the day around great vendors, good food, and fellow dog lovers.

Whether you run, walk, or just come to cheer people on, we hope to see you there! 🐾💜

🚐🐾 The ABC crew is headed to Alabama for the OneWorld Canine Obstacle Course Run! We’re so excited to represent A Balanced Canine and have some fun along the way. 💪🐕
