Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week!
This week, we’re celebrating the incredible veterinary technicians who help keep Hanover Animal Hospital running and make a difference in the lives of our patients and their people every single day.
Veterinary technicians wear a lot of hats, and their work goes far beyond what you might see during an appointment. From client communication, administering vaccines, and drawing blood to running lab work, managing medications, and performing dental cleanings, their days are filled with countless ways to care for our patients.
They monitor anesthesia and keep patients safe during surgery, take radiographs, assist with ultrasounds, monitor vital signs, comfort nervous pets, answer questions, and help families navigate some of their most stressful moments. They are skilled medical professionals, compassionate advocates, problem-solvers, and an essential part of every patient’s care team.
So much of what they do happens behind the scenes, but the impact they make is felt every single day. We are incredibly grateful for the knowledge, dedication, patience, and compassion our veterinary technicians bring to work with them.
And because a team that gives so much deserves to be celebrated, we have a fun week planned at HAH! From a traveling massage therapist and a food truck to goodies, treats, and more, we’re making sure our team gets a little extra love this week.
Please join us in thanking our amazing veterinary technicians for everything they do. We couldn’t do it without you! 🩵
