We are leaping towards the end of summer, but look how beautiful that water looks! 😍 I realized I never posted an August schedule but I guess we figured it out.

For September we are still closed on Tuesdays.
Saturday September 5th we will open at 1:30 pm Sunday September 6th we will open at noon
Monday September 7th is Labor Day and we are open!!!
September 9-11 open 4-7 pm
September 28 - October - 2 (tentatively closed)
Final day of the season is determined by mother nature. Hopefully she likes us. I just added more water to the pool and stocked up on chlorine. 🤞🙏

I do substitute teach so if you want guaranteed week day hours book early and I'll that spot for you.

Saturday morning we welcomed back Dexter, Raven, Franklin, and Jager. They loved it! That afternoon we welcomed a group of 6 kids and 7 dogs from the Johnson County 4H group as part of try it. I think they all had fun, but I was so busy I didn't get any pictures.

Well look at this! We found some pictures of Louie and Myka from 7/26 we forgot to share. Louie's human reached out and I looked at my camera and sure enough they were sitting in there waiting to be shared with the world. Enjoy because they sure did.

People have been asking about how Leila has been doing so I thought I'd share a little update. Monday we had our second post op recheck and everything is right on track! She has gotten permission to use stairs again, do position changes (sits and downs), we can back off meds and even start to incorporate some running into our 40-60 minutes of daily walking. She is loving it. Thanks to my wonderful friend Kylie Sevening I was even able to get her in the pool for so some swimming. Even though she was an excellent swimmer we opted for a life jacket as she is still rebuilding muscle in that hind end as she has been on leash since early June. Thank you everyone that supported the Leaps for Leila in July. She celebrated her 10th birthday on Tuesday.

Remember Neeko and Missy from the other post? Their Junior Handler Juniper took advantage of our August special that allows any 4H/FFA or child that is interested in learning more about dock diving to give it a try at no cost because let's face it back to school is expensive enough and there are very few junior handers in Iowa competing and I'd like to change that. If you are interest in taking advantage of this in the month of August send us a text 319-560-1673 or message the page.

You asked for it and we are excited to announce it! We will be teaming up with Prairie K9 in Williamsburg to offer agility classes. Classes will begin October 15th and run for 6 weeks. We will have a 5:30 - 6:30 pm class and 7 - 8 pm class. Classes will $150 and be held at Willow Prairie. We have even purchased some new to us equipment for this class. Registration will be handled through us. Please email [email protected] to get registered. We will need proof of rabies, parvo, and distemper for this class.

It finally stopped raining and our schedule quickly filled up for the day. First up was Oscar and Lady. Then we had Emmy, Bonny, Hailey, Annie, Mabel, and Trip. We ended the day with Ditto and his favorite cheerleader Etsy.
