When your patient needs a little extra help… and your sister hospital just happens to have a board-certified surgeon who’s only a phone call away!

Dr. Broaddus came in on her day off from Veterinary Specialists of Hanover to perform a PU surgery on one of our feline patients, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

We’re incredibly lucky to have someone who is always willing to jump in when our patients need her. A day off didn’t stop her from coming to the rescue — because apparently surgeons don’t actually know how to take a day off.

Thank you, Dr. Broaddus, for always being willing to lend your time, talent, and expertise to help our patients. We appreciate you more than you know!

This sweet Devon Rex named Olive came in with symptoms of vomiting. We gave her some fluids and an injection to help her feel better, and she’s already looking much more comfortable. 💕🐾

Meet Remi! This handsome boy stopped by BetterPet Veterinary Urgent Care for some relief from an ear infection. His ears may have been bothering him, but he was still full of whole-body wiggles and love to share!

How do you know when your pet may have an ear infection? Watch for signs such as:

• Frequent head shaking or ear scratching
• Redness or swelling inside the ear
• An unusual odor
• Discharge or buildup
• Sensitivity or pain when the ear is touched

Ear infections can be uncomfortable and may require specific treatment depending on the underlying cause. If your pet is showing signs of an ear infection, having them evaluated sooner rather than later can help prevent discomfort from worsening.
