Kennel Associate Part Time 15-20 hours per week (could advance into more and might not include all 4 days) Friday , Saturday , Sunday and Monday

We are seeking quality personnel that can follow protocol and take care of dogs and customers as depicted.

When you’re working , social media and cell phone can not be ATTACHED to your ear OR BE YOUR MAIN FOCUS!

We are looking for a highly motivated, upbeat person to work in our boarding facility .
The position includes weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities, have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, and sometimes more, and be comfortable with picking up body waste (urine, f***s, vomit).

This position involves way more than just playing with dogs! You MUST not be afraid of WORK, and have a passion for cleaning!!!

While you will have dog interaction, this job requires cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, washing food / water bowls.)

You MUST be able to work with and without supervision, and be able to handle daily chores, as well as additional tasks as needed.

You MUST have an eye for detail, strong work ethic, trustworthiness, and common sense!!!

Experience with the following is an advantage:

-Feeding/watering dogs as well as administering medications or food supplements, according to schedules and instructions.

-Knowledge of dog anatomy and the ability to recognize signs of illness, disease, or injury.

-Responding to client questions, scheduling appointments, and collecting pet/client information.

-Reading dog behavior (having a strong "dog sense"), and the ability to maintain control of multiple dogs in various situations.

-Problem sensitivity, good judgement, and decision making.

-Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish duties.

-Ability to read cursive handwriting.

-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, as well as count change without the use of a calculator.

-Schedule flexibility.

-Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) square credit card merchant system for taking payments.

-Ability to use iPhone for customer relations

This position is and can be demanding.

When you’re taking care of our customer’s dogs , THE DOGS COME FIRST , NOT YOUR PERSONAL ISSUES , SOCIAL MEDIA OR IPHONE.

You will be on your feet most of the time cleaning, bending, lifting, scooping up dog p**p In play areas etc.

Hourly wage based on experience

Greetings....as we enter early fall and approaching the end of day light savings time , we are fast approaching the upcoming holiday season.

We currently have just a few kennels still available for
Thanksgiving and Christmas-New Years , we are filling up quickly.

Please let us know if we can help you with your boarding needs ....As always we continue to spend an incredible amount of time with each of your pups.

We enjoy the 9 different play times that your pups receive each day.

We have 6 different grassy play areas , where they can run the Fenceline and enjoy the other dogs without being in a big group of dogs...

We have redesigned many of the Kennels to accommodate more multi-dog families. We are seeing a huge increase of our customers gaining new family members and giving forever homes ❤️

In addition please don’t forget that we can take care of your dogs while you go out or for the wonderful season of college football while you’re watching a Buckeye game and enjoy not having to rush home to your pups.

Greetings to all on this chilly January night ..I receive many calls and texts with questions about the daily routine and daily operations of the kennel.

I will do my best to share how we take care of your 4-legged family (and occasionally 3 legged ) when at our kennel.

- KENNEL IS ON OUR PROPERTY...There is ALWAYS someone here!
- Security Cameras throughout property and kennel.

-Kennel is heated and air conditioned with internet controlled thermostats that text me an alert if temperature gets to cool in the winter and to warm in the summer .

-We operate 7 days a week , 365 days a year
-Drop offs and Pickups are from 7 am to 6;30 pm every day of the week
- Each dog gets 9 PLAYTIMES PER DAY
- We have 6 play areas and your dogs are Separated from other dogs ( we do not take dogs out in groups due to safety and liability reasons)

- Every 2 hours your dog getsa playtime from 5 am to Around 10 pm.

- Kennel is opened at 5am for first play time
- Kennel is put to bed around 10 pm at night

WE ALWAYS HAVE AN ASSOCIATE IN THE KENNEL WITH YOUR DOGS FOR 5 am TO 10 pm AT NIGHT .

- Large Kennels for Multi-Dog Families
- Large Kennels for Large Breed Dogs

We take great pride in taking care of your dogs, our kennel takes 119 hours a week to operate to make sure that your dogs are being cared for.

Very Scary....

Saturday night I got home late and my dog didn't recognize me. Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday, he was still acting weird. In addition please don’t forget that we can take care of your dogs while you go out to dinner for the evening or the wonderful season of college football while you’re at the Buckeye game.

We do a lot of daycare as well of just plain simple overnight boarding so you can enjoy your evening and not have to rush home to your pups.
